Manilla: Sign Up FREE!

I actually use Manilla myself, so I am passing it on to my readers! It is easy to use and FREE. I love it and I am sure if you give it a chance you will too! Trust me I know how hard it is to keep up with all the bills! I love the reminders! Sign up now!

What is Manilla? Manilla (manilla.com) is a free web based service that helps consumers better manage all of their household accounts, including financial, utilities, subscriptions and travel rewards programs, in one secure place online. Under a single password, Manilla provides customers with an automated, organized view of all of their account information, text and/or email reminders to pay bills and unlimited storage of account documents that Manilla has seamlessly retrieved for the consumer.

Why is Manilla necessary? Most people have more than 20 different household accounts, including three to four credit cards, several travel and hotel rewards accounts, multiple magazine and newspaper subscriptions, plus cable, phone, and other assorted utility bills. In order to stay on top of all this, people have to manage daily incoming paper mail, an array of online usernames and passwords, and websites in order to access important account information and take action. Manilla seamlessly retrieves all your account information – current balances, previous payments, upcoming bills due – and stores it for you in one secure place. Most importantly, you need only one password to view, manage and organize it all.

Recipe: Easy Cheese Ball

This is the recipe my momma always used (and I am sure alot of others) but in case you do not know it here it is! =] It is super easy and a big hit at all the family gatherings!

Here is what you need:

3 8oz. packages of creme cheese
2 bundles of green onions (you can use more if you like onions)
2 packages of Budding Beef
Here is what it looks like. =]

A Walk Down Memory Lane.....

Today I was going through an old box when I cam across a bunch of old photos. I sat and looked through them one by one...smiling the whole time... I needed that. I want to share a few with you...I know this is not anything frugal living related, so don't feel obligated to look at it. These pictures and the memories tied to them just hold a special place in my heart. I figured what better place to store a copy of them then on another place close to my heart, my blog. If you do choose to scroll through them, I hope you enjoy.

One of the first pictures I came across were ones of my mama and papa (my grandparents). The best by far any child could ask for. My papa passed away November 21, 2004 after losing his battle to cancer. He set the bar high for any man after him who entered my life! That is for sure. I am VERY blessed to still have my Mama. I would be lost without her! They were married for 57 years. If ever I look for marriage advice I look to them... My husband nor my boys never got the pleasure of meeting him... However both of my boys were blessed with a part of him. They both have his beautiful, amazing, bright blue eye. Something he and they are known for. ( I have green and my husband has brown.)

This next picture put a smile on my face..
This is me on 50s Day (something my school did each year).
My mom went all out as you can tell haha. My other grandma made this skirt for me. =]

This is my father and his mother and father, my grandparents.
I thought this was the neatest picture! I just love old photos!

This is me of course. =] When I was little! Being my uncles little
model for his photography business.

My mother is probably going to kill me for this one!  haha
This is me and my mommy and daddy!

My beautiful Mommy.

My Daddy.

That is all for now. =] Feel free to chat with me below in the comments or leave your favorite childhood memory! I would love to hear from you! =]

Friday Summer Flashback: Favortie Childhood Food or Snack

Oh this Friday Summer Flashback was a tuffy! Sooo, for my sanity, so I do not have to choose, I am going to list my favorite Food AND Snack. Lol Breaking rules!

I still made it tough on myself because anything my Mamaw made I loved! She is by far the best cook in the WORLD (well to me anyways). We had a homemade dinner on the table every night at 5 and every Sunday at Noon! She always made sure my belly was full before my Mommy picked me up! REALLY FULL! =] After racking my brain I think I finally decided nothing beat her Sunday dinner! Homemade EVERYTHING and of course her homemade FRIED CHICKEN! Mmmmmm mmmmm! I could have probably listed a ton of others like her, homemade salmon patties or hamburger hash but I think Sunday dinner has the most memories tied to them and something I will always hold close to my heart! So I am going with her homemade Fried Chicken from Sunday Dinner. =]

Best Grandparents in the world! Hands Down! =]

Ok turning off memory lane now. On to my favorite snack! This was a snack that was always on my list for my mommy for slumber parties! If anyone came to my house the knew they would be in the cabinet. I was a slight addict...and that snack would be....LITTLE DEBBIE BROWNIES! Ok so I am still an addict, ask my husband. haha They are for sure my weakness! Hands Down!

Ashton's Cars Themed Party. Recipes Included!

This Saturday was Ashton's 4th Birthday Party. We had to hold it off till the move was over. This year he picked out a Disney Cars theme and it was up to Mommy to make it happen! So I went to work about a month ahead of time planning.
First thing on my list was invites!I always make my own. I just feel like it is something special they can save ad put away in their keepsake box and it makes them a little more personal! =] Here is how they turned out this year. I got the idea from a simple google search and then made it my own. =]
Next on the agenda was decorations! Birthday Express is always my go to source and Walmart for party supplies. Along with making a few of my own. I also was sure to use coupons from Cheap Sally to save, and I did! I added the coupons below for you. =]
Powered by CheapSally.com
Here are few pictures of the decorations.

Mator Party Hats! MY FAV!

I got this idea from Pinterest (source unknown).
I just printed them like photos at Walmart and taped them.

Next on the Agenda was FOOODD! Below are picture of what he had.
Just click on the pic for the recipe!

Photo obtained from link. I added Graham Crackers and Vanilla Wafers. =]

Pinned Image
Photo obtained from link. I used Frank's Sweet Chili Sauce. These were gone FAST!
Photo obtained from link. I replaced the "Uncle Bubba's Fry Mix" with Hooters Fry Mix, found at Walmart and Hidden Valley Southwest for dipping!
Pinned Image
Photo obtained from link. This was the biggest hit!! I am not going to link you but
I got it from PlainChicken.com. It does something weird when you go to their site so I will just give you the recipe from the site.
1 unsliced loaf of (round is preferable) sourdough bread
8-12 oz cheddar cheese, thinly sliced
3 oz bag Oscar Mayer Real Bacon bits
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 Tbsp Ranch dressing mix

Using a sharp bread knife cut the bread going both directions. Do not cut through the bottom crust. Place slices of cheese in between cuts. Sprinkle bacon bits on bread, making sure to get in between cuts. Mix together butter and Ranch dressing mix. Pour over bread. Wrap in foil the entire loaf in foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Unwrap. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

Finally we had my momma's cheese ball recipe! MMMM good and Chips and Dip
Here is the recipe:
3 8oz. packets of cream cheese
3/4 of a bag of shredded cheddar cheese
2 bundles of green onions, chopped. I use a slap chop.
2 small packets of "Budding" brand beef, chopped. I use a slap chop.
Mix Well. Roll into a ball and serve with Ritz crackers! EASY! =]
Last on the list was the cake. I usually grab one from Walmart but they were booked solid. So we turned to Krogers. It turned out adorable and taste ammmazzinng!
And last but not least of course the Birthday Boy. My baby is 4. :(
If you have any questions or comments please leave them below! =] I love to hear from you!
