* Always try to match a coupon with a sale!
* Buy multiple Sunday papers (I buy 5, ATLEAST)
* Pay close attention to store policy one rule can mess up your whole transaction. You can call costumer service for any question regarding policy.
* Type up a spread sheet so you know what you have in your coupon binder, box, or bag...My spread sheets include the store name, item, sale price, coupon, number of items I'll be purchasing, and my final cost... That way I have an idea of what I’ll be spending
* Get a binder and baseball card sheets. You can keep your coupons organizing and make it easy to view and flip through them!
* Go to http://www.couponmom.com/ and join there you will find my two favorite tools... The store deal tab, where you can find your store and they automatically match all the sales up with the coupons and tell you your final cost... you then can click on the items you want and it will tell you your percent in savings and your final cost at check out!!
Also the coupon database, you type in any item you can think of and it will tell you if it’s out there and where to find it!
*Shop around don't just use one store... I shop at CVS, Wal-Mart, Kroger, and Family dollar
* Always make a list and FOLLOW IT!
* Don’t go to the store with an empty tummy. You will end up drifting away from you list and spend wayyy too much!
* Set goals and budgets for yourself!
* Buy coupons on eBay and craigslist esp. if there is one item you after…instead of buying lots of papers for a couple coupons!!!!
